In the event of a tie in points at series end, the process to break the tie was determined by which rider had the greater number of top placing moto scores in the series. If, for instance, there was an equal amount of first place finishes in the series between two riders, the number of second place moto scores were calculated and so on until the tie was broken. The rider with the greater number was placed higher in the overall results of the series. If the tie remained unbroken after comparing moto scores throughout the series, the overall winner of the final race in the series was ranked higher in the final series results.

To be eligible for a top 5 placing, a rider must have competed in at least 50% of the races in the Series.
